The Role Global Connected Services is seeking highly motivated Product Manager.
This position can be located in either Renton, WA or Lewisville, TX.
PACCAR Global Connected Services is revolutionizing the vehicle ownership experience with the development of innovative services for connected vehicles.
Global Connected Services is hiring a Product Manager.
This role is responsible for defining connected vehicle service offerings, developing go-to-market strategies for new services, and managing program development.
This position reports to the Manager of Product & Services.
The position will focus on our App Strategy for in vehicle Infotainment system and 3rd party FMS relationship.
Job Functions/Responsibilities Connected Vehicle Services portfolio development and management Serve as a subject matter expert for the connected services product area Drive customer value and identify monetization opportunities Develop go-to-market strategy, value proposition, including launch and captivity tactics.
Work within global cross-functional teams Aligns Connected Services strategy, pricing, processes, and systems with PACCAR Divisions.
Ensures Third Party supplier products and services are onboarded and manages vendor relationships.
Manage the relationship between business partners, project teams and vendors.
Work closely with Division Product Planning and Sales & Marketing teams to align product roadmap initiatives.
Ensure Global alignment of Products/Services Engage with Customers to ensure their experiences and needs are evaluated and met Analyze Customer behavior and initiate proactive improvement proposals to Management Uses customer feedback about content, pricing and functionalities to enhance revenue opportunities Responsible for Portfolio Backlog Prioritization for a specific connected product/service Responsible for Intake of Internal Business Requests for a specific connected product/service Participate in workshops to scope projects and gather detailed product requirements.
Provide high level user stories (or Epics) to project teams and assist in budget and resource estimates for delivering new products/services or enhancements.
Ensure projects include end-to-end validation of new features/services.
Domestic and International travel is required - up to 20%.
Develop and adhere to program budgets and schedules.
Write business plans and obtain approval.
Effectively communicate across the organization.
Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in Automotive, Commercial Vehicle, or Subscription Based Services as a IT Project or Program Manager.
Experience in the following but not limited to B2C/B2B eCommerce, Subscription based services, Connected Vehicle Services, Telematics Platforms, and/or Fleet Management Systems.
Experience in the specification and design of complex automotive components desirable.
Familiarity with agile way of working.
Experience with software development cloud computing is desirable.
Candidate should be willing to make use of industry standard processes and techniques and be resourceful in solving complex technical problems.
Requires independent judgement Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and ability to influence others.
Must demonstrate ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and respond dynamically to shifting priorities.
Competence in the use of personal computer software such as word processing, database, and spreadsheets.
Technical aptitude and ability to succinctly communicate technical topics is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Commercial truck product knowledge strongly preferred.
Demonstrates high leadership potential.
Six Sigma training preferred.
Familiarity with agile way of working.
Candidate should be willing to make use of industry standard processes and techniques and be resourceful in solving complex technical problems.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and ability to influence others and use independent judgement.
Must demonstrate ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and respond dynamically to shifting priorities.

Education/Training Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or Engineering fields of study required.
Master’s degree and Professional certifications (PMP, etc.
) preferred.

The salary range for the Product Manager - Connected Services Infotainment is is $106,300 - $166,300 annually.
