If so, apply to be a FT Lead/Assistant Teacher, an ECEAP Lead/Assistant Teacher, or a Teaching Aide at our SeaTac childcare development center (Hrs of Operation 6am-6pm).
We are hiring for multiple positions! *Your Role:* *Lead Teacher* plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises developmental classrooms for children, including children with disabilities and their peers without disabilities.
They may also supervise and evaluate teacher’s assistants and volunteers in the performance of their duties in the classroom.
*Assistant Teacher* works under the guidance of the lead teacher and therapists and assist in developmental activities.
They may provide instruction to small groups of children and may supervise the classroom in the absence of the lead teacher.
*ECEAP Lead Teacher* plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises developmental classrooms for children, including children with disabilities and their peers without disabilities.
They may also supervise and evaluate teacher’s assistants and volunteers in the performance of their duties in the classroom.
*ECEAP Assistant Teacher* works under the guidance of the lead teacher and therapists and assist in developmental activities.
They may provide instruction to small groups of children and may supervise the classroom in the absence of the lead teacher.
*Teaching Aide* assists and supports all center classrooms by providing break and lunch relief for the staff.
Also supports the teacher in day-to-day care and supervision of children.
*REQUIREMENTS:* * High school graduate or GED * Initial Certificate in Early Childhood Education (12 credits for Asst Teacher/ 20credits for Lead Teacher) , *OR* proof of current enrollment in an ECE program, *OR* an education waiver from the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) * 2 years teaching experience in ECE _(preferred)_ * Must pass Washington State Department of Early Learning (DEL) background check (and federal background check if applicable) and maintain background check compliance * Proof of U.
