Minimum qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with SQL and data analytics.
5 years of experience in management consulting or product management, and strategy or analytics functions at a technology company.
Preferred qualifications: Experience working with large data sets to derive business insights.
Experience using metrics and analytics to solve business problems and generate actionable insights.
Experience in applying statistics to drive strategy.
Experience defining metrics and structuring reporting dashboards to track the metrics.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$203,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business leaders in order to identify opportunities, design, and assess improvements to Google Cloud Platforms products.
Plan strategy and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development for the GCP Margin Optimization Team.
Make strategic and operational recommendations to achieve goals.
Build automated analytics to quickly evaluate decisions through a high quality framework and reports to track business progress to goals.
Conduct non-routine analyses, including data gathering from large and complex data sets.
Employ advanced statistical methods at times, with ongoing deliverables to improve business performance.
Make business recommendations (e.
g.
, agreement recommendations, product changes, process changes) using effective presentation skills and conveying findings at multiple levels including executive leadership, managers, and peers through visual displays of quantitative information.
