Packer

The Safeway Ice Cream Plant located in Bellevue, Washington, has an opening(s) for an Ice Cream Packer.
Primary job functions is to receive ice cream bars/popsicles from the machine chute and place either 6 or 12 bars (depending on packaging) on a moving conveyor and move 8 or 12 boxes of ice cream into a card board sleeve.
Packers empty garbage and dispose of defective products clean equipment at the end of the production run and rotate among packing positions.
The pay range is $24.
32 to $32.
42 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage.
*Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
* Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available.
