Requirements Cloud Architect: This is where you come in.
We’re looking for a Cloud Architect to lead our organization's cloud computing strategy.
You would be responsible for encompassing the development and maintenance of cloud adoption plans, application design in cloud environments, and the ongoing management and performance monitoring of cloud solutions.
You will be pivotal in transitioning our business towards a scalable and robust cloud infrastructure, ensuring the alignment of IT strategy with business goals.

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero: Cloud Solutions Advocate Evaluate organizational needs for cloud infrastructure, manage its adoption, and keep appraised of new cloud technologies or offerings to support business growth objectives.
Facilitate communication of complex technical concepts to team members and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with other systems, network, operations, support, and development team members effectively.
Cloud Architecture Management Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud architecture that supports the company’s IT needs.
Establish a robust cloud management and monitoring process that aligns with business objectives.
Collaborate effectively with cloud providers, Internet Service Providers (ISP), third parties, and internal stakeholders to drive program leadership for cloud implementation projects.
Balance financial considerations regarding cloud service costs and implementation strategies.
Cloud Infrastructure Environment Management Understand and provision for virtualization and OS resources within the cloud based on business needs or objectives.
Address networking challenges, ensure compatibility and optimization for leading cloud service providers such as Azure, Meraki, and Amazon Web Services.
Establish and maintain a robust virtualization, network, and OS monitoring and alerting process that contributes to a healthy environment and aligns with business objectives.
Navigate and design corporate data architecture within the cloud environment.
Cloud Security and Governance Manage risks and cloud governance within the organization’s cloud architecture.
Design and implement security protocols and utilize gatekeeping technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection devices, and encryption protocols to ensure the security of the organization’s cloud and network infrastructure.
Work with other security team members and third party organizations to implement new security changes and protocols based on provided recommendations or known best practices.
The Cloud Architect role reports to Seth Henderson – IT Director on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business.
This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.
Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role? You should have… A strong understanding of application architecture and cloud solutions as well as cloud infrastructure of main providers (Azure, Cisco Meraki, AWS).
Expertise in cloud service management and performance monitoring.
Proficiency in virtualization technologies and Windows Server Operating Systems Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (master's degree preferred).
