The Position: We are seeking to fill a Senior Electrician position.
We are looking for a skilled tradesperson to perform maintenance, service, and repair work on various electrical systems for SHA.
This is a bargained position between SHA, the Seattle/King County Building Trades, and IBEW Local.

The ideal candidate has: Washington State Journey level (EL01) Electrician or Master Journey level Electrician Seattle Fire Department FA-1 certification: Must have a NICET II certification in Fire Alarms or ESA/NTS CFAT II certification for the ability to hold the FA-1 Completion of formal apprentice training, work experience as a maintenance, service or construction electrician Valid Washington driver’s license with an insurable driving record Basic computer skills, use email and other apps Ability to follow all safety procedures What will you do? Install, modify, and upgrade new and existing electrical and electronic systems, component parts, and other related electrical equipment in commercial and residential properties Repair and maintain fire alarm systems, lighting systems, electrical controls, phone systems, automatic doors and gates, emergency power systems, transfer switches, etc.
Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment Drive work vehicle to various locations in the city in a safe and efficient manner.
