Job Title: Manufacturing Manager
Location: 365 Upland Drive Tukwila WA 98188
We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager who will Supervise and direct the daily activities of 25 personnel in Manufacturing and coordinate with other departments to achieve quality and cost targets and ensure on-time completion of production assemblies.
Manage manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Responsibilities
• Manage and improve upon current standards of safety & 5S throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Effectively manage multiple projects, maintain schedules, allocate resources.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills based on data collection, design of experiments, and sound engineering practices.
• Evaluate labor and variance data to determine areas of process improvement.
• Assist in review of project design and perform labor and cost analysis on all custom fabrication items.
• Maintain and manage department budget including labor and equipment costs.
• Analyze, evaluate, and propose through ROI the purchase of capital equipment and technology as needed.
• Proactively identify quality issues and work with the Quality department to resolve
• Assist the plant manager in forecasting manpower requirements
• Maintain training records and training database requirements of all direct reports.
• Manage MRO supplies.
Review bills for corrections and approval.
Negotiate costs when necessary.
• Travel to suppliers and customers as needed to support the organization.
• Presents KPIs and quality metrics in bi-monthly Factory Quality Reviews.
MUST Have Qualifications
• Supply Chain Experience
• Complex BOM (Bill of Material) Experience
• Work Order Experience
• Consistent and high degree of attention to detail
• Deal with High Stress Environment
Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with several other departments and individuals.
• Experience in progressive manufacturing systems, process improvement programs and procedures required.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing environments.
• Experience in working with a multicultural and diverse work force.
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Ability to solve complex problems under delivery timing constraints
• Experience with MRP/CRP software environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly, fabrication, electrical construction, and welding processes.
