Machine Packer

*Information about the Company: *Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes.
We are hiring immediately for 2nd & 3rd shifts Machine Packers in our Kent, WA envelope manufacturing plant.
*Machine Packer Pay/Schedule:* * Pay - $17 - 19/hr + shift premiums on 2nd & 3rd shifts * 2nd shift premium $0.
75/hr and 3rd shift premium $1.
50hr * 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm / 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am * Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/business needs.
*Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties:* * Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed *or* web envelope folding machines * Pack product; Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances.
* Checks production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
* Complete rework on finished product if needed; Cleans up work area.
* Other duties as assigned/required.
*Machine Packer Requirements/Qualifications:* * The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.
* 6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment.
* Quality inspection skills and ability to measure/read a ruler.
* Basic math, verbal/written communication, computer skills *Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-* * Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position full shift.
* Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into machine.
* Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; Manual dexterity required to grasp objects.
* Exposure to noise, hazardous materials (solvents, inks, etc.
); Mental alertness.
* Exposure to arm/wrist fatigue; Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
