*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Lead to join our team.
The Landscape Lead will be responsible for leading a crew in all aspects of landscape installation, including site preparation, planting, irrigation, hardscape, and other related tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.
*Responsibilities:*
* Lead a crew in all aspects of landscape installation, including site preparation, planting, irrigation, hardscape, and other related tasks.
* Develop and implement landscaping plans and schedules to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.
* Oversee the installation and maintenance of plants, lawns, and other landscaping features.
* Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
* Monitor and manage the budget for the landscaping department, ensuring that all expenses are within the approved budget.
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines and proper PPE is being used/worn.
* Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff members.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
*Requirements:*
* Experience in the grounds keeping/ landscape industry in management or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
* Pesticide Certification or ability to obtain in 30 days of hire
* Familiarity with proper horticultural practices and general knowledge of common ornamental trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
* Ability to operate and maintain landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
* Strong leadership and communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
