BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BSME required; MSME a plus.
10+ years of professional hands-on electro-mechanical or mechanical design experience with increasing design/project responsibility.
Proficiency with general ME CAD tools: SolidWorks, NX, or Creo Parametric.
Experience in consumer electronics or medical devices industries.
Understanding of basic mechanics and machine design.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements.
Ability to create functional prototypes to demonstrate new technologies.
Up to 25% of travel may be required between locations.
Must possess a valid U.
S.
Driver’s License.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.
S.
without sponsorship.
Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, PCBA, flex circuits, etc.
Experience with plastic injection moldings (20+ parts designed) and knowledge of manufacturing techniques (Stamping, machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.
).
Knowledge & application of GD&T techniques and knowledge of associated metrology approaches.
Testing and analysis experience (FEA, Simulation, Zemax, Ray Tracing, etc.
).
Experience with high-volume products.
Experience delivering multiple successful consumer products to production from concept inception to shipping products.
Design for manufacture and assembly experience.
Experienced in leading technical teams and projects.
Proficiency in presenting engineering designs, proposals, and reports.
Experience working with high precision design requirements in the areas such as optics, mechanics, mechatronics, and motion control.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Base Salary: $85,000 to $160,000.
