REQUISITION SUMMARY

This position is remote and may have heavy travel at times between 20% and 60% of the time.
The qualified candidate can be located anywhere in the Continental US or Canada.
DUTIES
Create and maintain technical service training materials and training aids in electronic and other formats
Present assigned classroom sessions to dealership and customer service technicians in both classroom and virtual settings
Coordinate with Field Service, Dealers, and Kenworth management to identify training needs for new and existing products
Coordinate involvement of other departments (Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, etc.
) to design classroom support materials and training aids
Prepare cost estimates for the production of classroom support materials and training aids
Explore and evaluate alternative media for classroom and virtual training venues
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, preferably in Engineering, Automotive, or Diesel Technology
Preference for Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) certifications or Automotive OEM certifications
Preference for Diesel engine certifications or Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications
Strong presentation skills required
4+ years previous full time work experience required
Previous experience in production and delivery of industrial training materials highly desired
Previous experience in dealership service or service management in commercial truck industry strongly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of heavy-duty truck products and manufacturing process desired
Ability to manage large, complex projects
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including the delivery of formal classroom presentations
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Personal computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop trusting business relationships
Strong grasp of English language is required; Spanish or French speaking abilities are preferred
Between 20% - 60% travel required

The salary range for Service Training Instructor is $80,800-$126,600 annually.
