The Senior Continuous Improvement Manager will directly engage with external suppliers to identify opportunity areas across their production and operations/quality management, implement improvements for Amazon.
They will develop and maintain tracking mechanisms to hold internal stakeholders and external suppliers accountable against their commitments and Amazon expectations.
They will drive excellence in manufacturing and packaging to implement continuous improvement with our suppliers.
They will break through ambiguity to develop a scalable mechanism for CI with our suppliers.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate bias for action, think big, ownership, deliver results, and relentlessly quality improvements for Amazon.
Across 3rd party sourcing, this candidate will have experience diving deep to gain supplier insights, launching successful improvement initiatives, and developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate will possess attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders and be a great team player.
The right candidate will have the ability to work independently and deal with an ambiguous environment while creating and implementing the program’s strategy.
In this role, you will be responsible to: · Work with CPB suppliers to improve product and supplier quality across manufacturing, and packaging that output measured improvements in product and packaging quality and safety.
This includes the creation of appropriate supplier performance KPIs, measuring, reporting, and leadership review.
· Develop/maintain production expertise across consumer packaged goods products and technologies (e.
g.
, raw materials, manufacturing, packaging).
· Identify and drive FCF opportunities for Amazon with our suppliers.
· Maintaining mastery in current best approaches (CBA) across consumables production and continuous improvement spaces.
· Auditing and inspecting post-improvement metrics.
· Organizing and leading performance reviews with suppliers.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $105,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
