*Overview* Join our team as a Construction Project Manager, where you'll be instrumental in the successful execution of construction projects.
Your role will involve managing the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Regular interaction with clients and stakeholders, along with other construction professionals, will be key in resolving project challenges.
Your leadership, organizational skills, and construction expertise are crucial for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
*Key Responsibilities:* - Manage all aspects of project planning and execution, including budgeting, cost control, team leadership, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
- Oversee project scheduling, monitor milestones, and coordinate staffing and contractors for optimal outcomes.
- Participate in pre-construction activities such as scheduling, reviews, estimating, bidding, and liaising with the design team.
- Prepare essential project documentation and serve as the primary contact for project personnel.
- Drive timely project completion through effective management of in-field managers and subcontractors.
- Lead project buyout processes and negotiate with subcontractors.
- Regularly communicate project progress to stakeholders and manage weekly stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to resolve construction and personnel challenges and coordinate various project elements with subcontractors.
*Qualifications & Experience:* - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Preferred: Degree in construction management, civil engineering, building construction, or related area.
- At least five years of experience in construction management, handling multiple projects.
- Knowledge of both civil/horizontal and building/vertical construction.
- PMP or CCM certification is an asset.
- Proven mid-level management experience in commercial, public works, or government construction projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.
00 - $120,000.
