The Big Picture:
Mortenson’s Seattle office is looking for a Senior Integrated Construction Coordinator to implement and coordinate Virtual Design and Construction processes throughout design and construction phases of a project.
The base compensation range for this role is $100,200 - $135,300.
This range is adjusted for Seattle, WA by increasing the overall range by 10%.
This position is eligible for a potential annual bonus.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
What will you be doing?
Plan, implement and Coordinate VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms
May include, but is not limited to, Mortenson BIM/VDC uses: existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning and record modeling.
Provide point of contact for construction team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction
Document work process as it relates to enhancing and/or changing current company process standards
All other duties as assigned
Assist in training on VDC processes
All integrated construction team members are expected to be active participants in Mortenson’s IDAT (Integrated Delivery Advancement Team) community of practice– Knowledge sharing
Daily work planning
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
How you will succeed:
High level of competency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D, Trimble SketchUp, and Bluebeam Revu
Proficiency with Autodesk BIM 360 Field and Glue, 3DS Max, Civil 3D, Point Layout, Faro Scene, Google Earth Pro, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
)
Familiarity with the following workflows and solutions is preferred but not required; game engine technologies (Unity, Unreal, Lumion 3D), Parametric Analysis solutions (Dynamo, Grasshopper, Solibri), basic key frame animation, 2D/3D rendering capabilities, 2D/3D post production capabilities
Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
Education and Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field
Minimum two years of related experience
Completion of intermediate level of BIM/VDC software training
Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
Current driver’s license
