General Contractor, Pacific Building Envelope, Inc.
is looking for skilled carpenters to join our team.
Our company specializes in multifamily apartment and condominium exterior renovations throughout Puget Sound.
Current project is 8 months long with the next two projects waiting for us.
We essentially repair the exterior of occupied multi-family complexes replacing cladding, deck repair and structural framing repairs.
We are currently looking for multiple experienced carpenters to join our team for our project in Seattle.
Candidates must possess a wide range of skills; have reliable transportation and a clean record to work on occupied homes.
Compensation includes an hourly wage of $28-$40 per hour depending on experience plus paid medical insurance after 60-day evaluation period; 401K with company match, working safely incentives, crew appreciation day and more.
Minimum 5 years experience.
Ability to speak and communicate in English.
More advancement for a Foreman level lead carpenter that is bi-lingual.
Common tasks and desired skill-set as follows:
• Ability to read and understand plans.
• Wood stud framing, shoring, sheathing, dry-rot repairs.
• Integral sheet metal flashings
• Waterproofing (e.
g.
liquid applied urethane system, sheet goods, etc.
)
• Installation of windows and doors with flashings
• Deck repairs
• Siding replacement (e.
g.
fiber cement, wood, vinyl, stucco, CeraClad, metal)
• Limited concrete work
• Interior drywall patching, texturing and finishing is not required but a plus.
• Application of sealants at times.
• Selective interior millwork and finish carpentry is a plus
Candidates with special endorsements, certifications and equipment operating skills (e.
g.
aerial lift, flagger, forklift, telehandler, OSHA 30, etc.
) will be looked upon favorably.
