Deliver and configure network infrastructure equipment, services and solutions needed to support client networking systems and environments.
Perform day-to-day field installation, configuration, service, preventive maintenance, and decommission of dedicated and shared data infrastructure such as computers, network equipment and/or other telecommunications and network devices.
Position Details:
Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
Contract with possible contract extension or hire
Standard work hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am-6:00pm (OT, may include nights and weekends)
Location: Mainly will support sites in & around Seattle, WA, but will occasionally support Client sites throughout WA & OR.

Field Tech
· Install and trouble shoot cabling
· Can provide connectivity to user end devices
· Provide layer 1 support
· Basic telephony skills / knowledge
· Good customer service and relations
· Rack and Stack
· Knowledge on switches and routers
· VOIP
· Wireless Access Points
· Extend circuits from the mpoe through the riser system to devices in the MDF or IDF.
· Trouble shoot circuits
· Knowledge of hyper terminal and putty
· Renovations
· Switch Upgrades
· Memory Installs
· VOIP upgrades
· Large scale user relocations.
· Can work independently or with a team.
· Capable of taking instructions or leading a team giving instruction
· Completes numerous tickets daily
· Routing / Mapping out their route in the best order to complete all assigned work orders.
· Must have a personal smart phone with a hotspot
· Returns phone calls, text messages and emails in a timely manner
· Needs to know Word and Exel
