The Technical Project Coordinator Intern will assist multiple teams with translating program requirements into effective and detailed project plans to meet business needs, assisting in the planning and execution of projects while working cross-functionally across technical operations and most closely with process and analytical development, quality, regulatory, manufacturing and supply chain counterparts.
The successful candidate will support the projects and programs in the Global Manufacturing Science & Technology (GMS&T) portfolio by creating and driving detailed program & project plans including resource planning, tracking project plan execution against established targets, identifying, and facilitating resolution of issues, and communication of the project status.
The Project Coordinator Intern is a coordinator and facilitator, capable of assigning and overseeing projects, providing direction, and helping to drive overall direction and strategy for late-stage programs.
These positions can be hybrid model positions 50% remote, 50% based in Warren, NJ, Summit, NJ, or Seattle, WA.
Key Responsibilities · The Project Coordinator Intern will support project teams and/or Program Managers utilizing a variety of project management tools to build and sustain high-performing cross-functional teams.
Organizes and facilitates project planning, team meetings, project reviews and action item follow-up by working closely with the team leaders.
Maintains all program timelines, target dates in Microsoft Project or other applicable software and is responsible for communicating changes to the approved plan.
· Ensures the project teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
Supports facilitation and ensures optimal execution against the plan.
· Finds and works to remove and or escalate program/project roadblocks while ensuring the technical team remains focused and motivated.
Supports the team ensuring that commitments are being upheld.
· Coordinates and facilitates delivery of project objectives.
Tracks progress and reviews project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately.
· Proactively communicates project status, issues & risks to all stakeholders.
Works closely with the program managers and portfolio manager to ensure all status are accurate and up to date within the GMS&T TPT book of work.
· Supports project teams, program managers to ensure all projects are tracked as needed to support the program.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a BS degree in any of the below areas of study or equivalent with a graduation date of December 2024 or later.
Business Administration, Business & Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Organizational Management, Technology Innovation Management, Behavioral Economics, Business, and Organizations, Biomedical Engineering, Communication, Computer Science, Computing & Security Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Science Understanding and/or experience in regulatory filings and jurisdiction requirements.
Able to process and apply technical and detailed information.
Able to work independently to meet objectives and perform with a high degree of accuracy.
Written - Writes clearly and informatively; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret complex written information.
Presentation - Presents clearly and informatively, easily maintaining audience attention and responding to audience needs; Able to facilitate discussion, progress effectively, and manage audience as needed.
Become and remain proficient in all programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and Smartsheet is required.
