*Position: Site Superintendent*
*Job Description:*
The Site Superintendent is responsible for the supervision and management of the construction project site and the coordination of the project team with the client and other departments.
The Site Superintendent will supervise the work performed on site by the construction team and ensure that all project requirements are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety regulations are followed to the highest level of standards.
The Site Superintendent will also be responsible for managing the project schedule to ensure on-time completion of the project.
*Core Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and manage a team of technicians or craftsmen.
* Manage subcontracts or other arrangements between client, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and contractors.
* Monitor all required documentation to ensure accuracy.
* Ensure all required drawings are accurate and complete.
* Ensure that proper quality control is maintained on all products and installation site materials.
* Coordinate with Project Managers on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for the project.
* Interface with clients to review progress on projects or resolve issues over telephone or in person.
* Interface with Project Managers on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on projects.
* Interface with Project Managers on monthly billing statements for contracts.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred; Master’s degree in construction management preferred.
Experience: At least five years of supervisory experience in construction management preferred; at least two years as Site Superintendent required; knowledge of building codes and related knowledge helpful but not required; ability to manage multiple projects at once; excellent communication skills; strong leadership skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team required; strong organizational skills; ability to read drawings and blueprints helpful but not required; ability to write reports and correspondence helpful but not required; ability to read blueprints is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.
00 - $110,000.
